Clinical Research
Hedena Health is excited to become actively involved in research and Health surveillance and is now part of the Thames Valley and South Midlands Clinical Research Network (National Institute for Health Research).
Taking part in research is entirely voluntary and can be a very rewarding experience. You can withdraw from a study at any time with no explanation required.
We work with academic institutions (such as Oxford, Southampton and Keele Universities) for medical research purposes. Your consent will be sought before enrolment in any study; however, if you never wish your data to be used for the purpose of research you may opt out either by visiting the NHS website or by contacting the NHS Digital Contact Centre on 0300 303 5678.
Types of research we are asked to be involved in which can benefit our patients and others include: Identification of patients with irregular heart rhythms in order to prevent stroke or treating insomnia to see if it will improve a patient's mood.
A part of the Thames Valley and South Midlands Clinical Research Network, we can help to identify the viruses in circulation that can cause flu like illnesses such as COVID, Influenza B and Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV).
