National Diabetes Prevention Programme
We can now offer referral to the NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme (NDPP, if it is appropriate for you). This is a 9-month lifestyle change course aimed at improving the overall health of people who are at risk of developing type 2 diabetes. All patients who attend for their NHS health check will be screened for the risk of diabetes and will be offered referral to NDPP.
