AccuRx Patient Triage Has Replaced eConsult

We switched to using econsult as our way for patients to access our services at the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic. This happened quickly by necessity but meant we did not engage with patients as much as we would have liked.

Although the response to econsult has been overwhelmingly positive from patients, we are aware that it doesn’t work for everyone, and some patients were finding it difficult and lengthy to complete. We are therefore pleased to announce that from Mon 6th March we will no longer be using eConsult as our patient triage tool and instead we will be switching to accuRx triage. Accurx is already being used at the practice to contact patients by text and for remote consultation by video and should prove much simpler and quicker for patients to use, as there are less forms and information to fill in. We do ask that you ensure you provide full information in the boxes you are presented with to enable us to understand your requirements and triage you to the most appropriate member of staff.

This short online form is the quickest and simplest way for the majority of our patients to access our clinical team for assistance and avoids patients having to telephone the practice. Please be assured though that our practice phone lines remain open for anyone with accessibility needs who might find it difficult completing this form.
