Accurx Scribe
Enhancing Your Care Experience with Accurx Scribe
We are always looking for ways to enhance the quality of care and the consultation experience for our patients. We are pleased to share that our practice has adopted Accurx Scribe, a new tool designed to support clinicians during appointments by transcribing consultations in real time.
This means your clinician can focus fully on listening to you, without needing to divide their attention between the conversation and typing up notes. It allows for more engaged, person-centred consultations, helping to improve communication and build stronger patient-clinician relationships.

Here’s how it works:
- Real-time transcription: The conversation is transcribed live, allowing the clinician to focus on you throughout the consultation.
- Privacy-first approach: The audio is not stored. It is processed securely in real-time and automatically deleted once transcription is complete.
- Data protection: Any written outputs (such as clinical notes or summaries) are stored securely for 30 days, in line with NHS standards. These can be deleted on request by your clinician, and all data is securely deleted or returned if the service ends.
Research into these kinds of tools has shown that patients feel more heard and report more meaningful interactions with their clinicians. We believe this will enhance your care experience and support the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality healthcare.
