Dr Justin Amery
We are very sad to inform our patients of the sudden and unexpected death of our dear friend and colleague Dr Justin Amery on Saturday 24th July,
We are working extremely hard to maintain our normal service, providing a service to our patients, and all patients needing medical services.
All pre-booked appointments will be continue, unless we have contacted you to re-arrange.
We are having to make significant changes to our pre-booked appointments so look out for messages or phone calls from the practices, but everyone that needs to be seen, will be seen. Do note that you may be contacted/seen by a staff member (including doctors and nurses) who do not normally work for Hedena Health. We are being supported by the CCG and locally practices to maintain our high level of service for our patients. If you have either an urgent or on the day problem please complete an online eConsult which can be also accessed via the NHS. You can also continue to use NHS 111 and call the practice in the usual way.
We are unable to give any more information or details at present except to say that we are all devastated by this totally sudden and sad loss. Our thoughts and sympathies are with Justin’s family, friends and colleagues at this difficult time. We appreciate that this news will cause great sadness for patients. Many of you may wish to express your condolences and a book has been set up in our waiting room. While we also warmly welcome such messages through means of letters, cards, emails or postings on our Facebook page, we would kindly ask that you avoid contacting the practice by phone.
Thank you for your understanding and compassion at this difficult time.
