Vacancy: Patient Services Advisor




We are now seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Administrator to join our Patient Services/Operations Team.

The role will be varied and duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing paper files: acceptance, storage and returns
  • Undertake effective, efficient, accurate and on-time processing of all inbound data (electronic and paper) including read coding as per protocol
  • Managing GP2GP, SCR, IPIL, LabLinks, workflows policing 
  • Registering and deducting patients, including FP69      
  • Summarising and coding notes and letters
  • Managing patient access to records, online appointment access and SMS text reminders
  • Communicating effectively with the whole organisation and with patients
  • CQC – ensuring we comply with all of the CQC requirements
  • Providing administration support to the clinical and management team

The successful candidates will display a compassionate nature, be knowledgeable about health care practices, and provide exceptional customer service. They will have excellent communication skills and a high level of IT literacy. Familiarity with IT systems including EMIS and Docman would be desirable.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have experience of working in the NHS with knowledge and understanding of the roles of the NHS organisation and of the primary care sector.
